Keywords Strategy

One of the most significant search engine optimization (SEO) tips is that search engines like Google and Yahoo, which send automated web crawlers or "spiders" to categorise and rank all published sites and blogs in the Internet, do so by searching for relevant content through prominently and strategically exposed keywords. Make sure to follow the following best applies:

1. The title tag of the site or blog is always crawled (i.e. noticed) by search engine spiders. The blog with keywords placed in the title tag will be placed higher on search engines.

2. The heading tags are also commonly crawled. This means keywords should be incorporated in the titles of each blog if possible.

3. Images in a blog are ignored by the search engine spider, but keywords placed as textual descriptions in the alt tags of images are not. This is one of the SEO tips that is specifically for graphics-driven bases like photography or travel blogs.

4. Search engine spiders do not ignore keywords in inbound or outbound links to blog sites. For inbound links from other websites to your blog, this means using the keyword as part of the anchor text (the clickable text in a link). For outbound links on your blog to other webpages, make sure that your URL link has the keyword.

5. Another crucial SEO tip is achieving the right amount of keywords to preserve keyword density (how frequent the keyword appears in your page). The blogger has direct control over this metric, by writing blog posts with around 3 may cause the spiders to miss the keyword for the blog.

6. Search engine spiders are also friendly toward keyword synonyms. So feel free to incorporate synonyms to limit keyword sameness in blog posts, and at the same time continue to optimize your blog site.

Important points in Traffic Exchange

The importance of traffic has been recognized along the internet marketing industry, especially the traffic exchange sector. Traffic is the lifeblood of online sites and businesses and this is the 1st thing that is being addressed by the traffic exchange.

Since its being, traffic exchange has been raised to be the easiest and most cost efficient way to direct traffic to web sites/blogs. Most traffic exchanges nowadays have both free and paid memberships. You can simply sign up for one if you prefer to give it a try. It fundamentally works with a membership system where all the members help one another bring traffic to his or her sites/blogs.

After signing up,you automatically become a member. You then have the chance to post the web page that you want to show or to direct traffic to. Then...start browsing the sites or web pages of the other members within the traffic exchange. You earn credits for every site or page that you view, and you shall set apart these credits to your site or page in order to set it on cue along with the sites of the other members within the program.

Once somebody views your site or page, the credits you assigned get consumed. So, you need to regularly view the sites or pages of the other members within the program so you continuously drive traffic to your site or page.

Moreover, there is a minimum timeframe per page view. It ranges from 10 seconds to 30 seconds depending on the program. You need to stay on the page within the timeframe and you are only allowed to go to the next page by clicking on the correct icon on the screen. Take note that you need to click on the correct one. You will not gain credits if you clicked on the wrong icon and there are even some traffic exchanges that log you out after 3 incorrect clicks. This is to prevent possible cheating and to be sure that real persons browse within the program.

Considering that most people who would view your site or page are your fellow internet marketers and that you have a very limited minimum timeframe to view a page, you already have an idea of the best page to show inside the program. It must be tempting enough to take hold of your viewers’ attention and earn their interest. It must also be requiring enough to move the viewers to take favourable action towards your online business.

This action does not need to be about pushing the viewers to make a purchase at the onset of seeing the page. This will most likely scare your potential customers away. The best thing is to give them a free offer, and have an opt-in form where they can leave their contact details such as their names and email addresses. Give them the free offer in exchange with their info.

Traffic exchange is more than a technique to drive traffic to your sites. It is also a way to capture leads and build a list. Considering these basic points is a guide to a powerful internet marketing strategy, and a way to your online business success.

Make Pages more Search Engine Friendly!

There has no point in building a website unless there are visitors coming in. A major source of traffic for most sites on the Internet is search engines like Google, Yahoo!, MSN, Altavista and so on. Therefore, by designing a search engine friendly pages, you will be able to rank easily in search engines and obtain more visitors.

Major search engines use programs called crawlers or robots to index websites to list on their search result pages. They follow links to a page, reads the content of the page and record it in their own database, pulling out the listing as people search for it.

If you prefer to make your site indexed easily, you should keep off using frames on your website. Frames will only confuse search engine robots and they might even abandon your site because of that. Moreover, frames make it difficult for users to bookmark a specific page on your site without using long, complicated scripts.

Do not lay out important information in Flash movies or in images. Search engine robots can only read text on your source code so if you lay out important words in Flash movies and images rather than textual form, your search engine ranking will be affected dramatically.

Use meta tags accordingly on each and every page of your site so that search engine robots know at first sight what that particular page is about and whether or not to index it. By using meta tags, you are making the search engine robot's job more well-to-do so they will crawl and index your site more frequently.

Stop applying incorrect HTML tags like to style of your pages. Use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) instead because they are more effective and efficient. By using CSS, you can eliminate extra HTML tags and make your pages much lighter and faster to load.

Okay...You have to try it...!

Tips to Generate Website Traffic

Here are the 5 ways to generate website traffic that could help your site/blog a great deal. Even if only get a small percentage of successful visitors in to client ratio it still works especially whenever you get a high amount of website traffic.

Exchange Links
This is a sure and proven method. Rarely would you see a site where there's no link to another site/blog. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.
A major requirement in exchanging links with others is having the same niche or content as the other site. They should share a common content so that there is continuity in the providing of service and information to what interests your target traffic.
Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine effects. It is basic knowledge that search engines ranks high sites that have inbound and outbound theme-related links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you will generate more traffic in your website without the high costs.

Traffic Exchange
This is like exchanging links but on another higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links but might cheaper because you get to earn credits. You can use those credits when looking at others traffic, while you earn credits when someone views yours.
Traffic exchange services are the viewing of another’s site or page. This is done the other way around where a site can use your sites contents and so can you to his or her site. You both benefit from each others efforts to generate traffic. The other sites visitors can go to your pages and know more about your site as well as theirs. Once again the public awareness of your sites existence is boosted.

Write and Submit Articles
There are a lot e-zines and online encyclopedias in the cyberspace which offers free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can do the articles yourself. There are many self-employed writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee, but to save money, it is wise to do those articles yourself.
Write articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that when they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to become to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the subject or niche your site has.
Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a little about yourself and your site. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will attend your site for more.

Make a Newsletter.
This may sound like hard work because of all the articles you may need to use to build a newsletter but on the contrary, this isn't so. There are many writers and sites that are willing to provide free articles as long as they can get their name in on your newsletter. This will also provide free advertising for them as well.
As your newsletter gets pass around, you can extend your public awareness and build an opt-in list that can regularly visit your site.

Join Online Communities and Forums
This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same content or niche with your site.
Share your two cents and let them see how knowledgeable you are with the subject. As you build your reputation, you also build the reputation of your site, making it a reputable and honest business that could be frequented and trusted by many people.

How to Choose Affiliate Programs?

Ask questions first before you join an affiliate program. Do a bit research about the selections of program that you guess to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you'll be achieving later on.

1. Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely for free. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

2. When do they payoff the commission checks? Every program is dissimilar. Some issue their checks once a month, quarterly, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or pass in order for their checks to be brought out.

3. What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the fair number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

4. How are referrals from an affiliate’s site tracked and for how long do they persist in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

5. What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already got from your site/blog. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.

6. Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio.

7. Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

8. Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

9. What is the amount of commission paid? 5% - 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.

These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website/blog. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you to choose the right program for you site/blog from one of the many available.

Easy incomes using Pay-Per-Click Business

Pay-per-click is one of the four basic types of Search Engines. Pay-per-click is also one of the most cost-effective ways of targeted internet advertising. According to Forbes magazine, pay-per-click or PPC, accounts to 2 billion dollars a year and is expected to increase to around 8 billion dollars by the year 2008.

Let's take a quick consider how PPC Search Engines work.

These engines create listings and rate them based on a bid amount the website owner is willing to pay for each click from that search engine. Advertizers bid against each other to receive higher ranking for a specific keyword or phrase.

The highest bidder for a certain keyword or phrase will then have the site ranked as number 1 in the PPC Search Engines followed by the second and third highest bidder, up to the last number that have placed a bid on the same keyword or phrase. Your ads then will appear prominently on the results pages based on the dollar amount bid you will agree to PPC.

How do you earn money by using PPC into your internet business?

Most affiliate programs just pay when a sale is made or a lead delivered after a visitor has clickthrough your site/blog. Your earnings will not always be the same as they will be dependent on the website/blog subject and the traffic market.

The reason why you should incorporate PPC into your affiliate marketing program is that earnings are easier to make than in any other kind of affiliate program not using PPC. This way, you'll be making profit based from the clickthroughs that your visitor will make on the advertiser’s site. Unlike some programs, you are not paid per sale or action.

PPC can be very resourceful of your website/blog. With PPC Search Engines incorporated into your affiliate program, you will be able to earnings from the visitor’s who are not interested in your products or services. The same ones who leave your site and never goes back.

You wish not only get commissions not only from those who are just searching the web and finding the products and services that they wanted but you will be able to build your site’s recognition as a worthful resource. The visitors who have found what they needed from you site are likely to come back and review what you are offering more closely. Then they will eventually come back to search the web for other products.

This kind of affiliate program is also an easy way for you to generate some more another revenues. For example, when a visitor on your site does a search in the PPC Search Engine and clicks on the advertiser bided listings, the advertisers’ account will then be deducted because of that click. With this, you will be compensated 30% to 80% of the advertisers’ bid amount.

PPC is not only a source of generating easy profits, it can also help you promote your own site/blog. Most of the programs allow for the commissions received to be spent for advertising with them directly and without any minimum earning requirement. This is one of the better ways to exchange your natural visitors for targeted surfers who has more tendencies to purchase your products and services.

What will happen if you when you integrate PPC into your affiliate program?

PPC usually have ready-to-use affiliate tools that can be easily integrated into your website. The basic tools are search boxes, banners, text links and some 404-error pages. Most search engines use custom solutions and can provide you with a white-label affiliate program. This enables you, using only a couple of lines of code, to integrate remotely-hosted co-branded search engine into your website/blog.

The key benefits? Not only more money generated but also some extra money on the side. Plus a lifetime commissions once you have referred some webmaster friends to the engine.

Think about it. Where can you get all these benefits while already generating some income for your site? Knowing some of the more valuable tools you are able to use for your affiliate program is not a waste of time. They are rather a means of earning within an taking in.

Best know more about how you are able to use PPC search engines into your affiliate program than miss out on a great opportunity to earn more incomes.

The Importance of Comments in The Blog

I have received an email about blog tips from Yaro Starak (my blog master). He gave out about the importance of comments in the blog so that we can be successful as a blogger.

Let's see what he has to write...!

If your blog has no traffic you wish not receive any comments. It makes sense of course, but some people don't roll connection between these two elements.

If no one is reading your blog then no one will leave comments either. Simply posting great articles to your blog is not enough - you have to *market* your blog to bring people to it.

We will talk several about marketing throughout my newsletter, so stay tuned for that.

For now, understand if you don't receive any comments to your blog it's probably not that your content is bad or people don't like you, it's because you simply don't have enough traffic.

If on the other hand you do have some traffic, yet no one replies to your posts, there are ways to stimulate comments.

Try these tips to begin with -

1. Write articles that reference or center on other bloggers. You'll get their attention that way and there's a good chance they will touch on your blog and leave a comment as a result.

2. Ask your readers a question at the end of your article.

3. Write about topics that stimulate conversation, such as current events (think politics, news, entertainment).

4. Be controversial with your writing. Have a strong opinion and others with strong opinions will reply to argue or agree with you.

5. Be patient. Sometimes you just have to wait until the first person leaves a comment which opens the floodgates.

KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING

A while ago I stopped actively responding to comments on my blog unless I was asked a direct question. I really had no excuse for not doing it, I was just lazy and working on other writing projects. Consequently the average number of comments on my blog entries dropped A LOT. I noticed the regular commentators stopped commenting as frequently and most conversations on my blog ended very quickly. This is really tragic for a blog and I'll tell you why - it reduces your "Social Proof".

WHAT IS SOCIAL PROOF?

Social Proof is when humans take action or make a decision based on seeing other humans doing it first. It's sort of like an implied recommendation - if other people do it, it must be good.

It's like when you see a bunch of people all looking up at something in the sky at the same time. You can't help but turn your head skywards and see what all the fuss is about. When first time visitors to your blog see other people making lots of comments they are more likely to decide there is something valuable at your blog and bookmark or subscribe to it and may even make a comment.

This is good for blog traffic. This is social proof in action.

I was very conscious of always taking part in comment conversations at my blog and consequently my readership was growing in leaps and bounds. I stopped and I noticed I hit a wall and my blog didn't grow quite as well as it was. I know a blogger who has a rule - she responds to every single comment made to her blog.

Consequently she has developed a fantastic community around her blog and her traffic has skyrocketed in a short period of time.

"Remember..! Comments on your blog are very important, take the time to respond to them".

10 Blog Traffic Tips

In every bloggers life comes a special day - the day they first launch a new blog. Now unless you went out and purchased someone else's blog chances are your blog launched with only one very loyal reader - you. Maybe a few days later you received a few hits when you told your sister, father, girlfriend and best friend about your new blog but that's about as far you went when it comes to finding readers. Here are the top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers.

These are tips specifically for new bloggers, those people who have next-to-no audience at the moment and want to get the ball rolling.

It helps if you work on this list from top to bottom as each technique builds on the previous step to help you create momentum. Eventually once you establish enough momentum you gain what is called "traction", which is a large enough audience base (about 500 readers a day is good) that you no longer have to work too hard on finding new readers. Instead your current loyal readers do the work for you through word of mouth. Top 10 Tips...

10. Write at least five major "pillar" articles. A pillar article is usually a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very practical tips or advice. This article you are currently reading could be considered a pillar article since it is very practical and a good "how-to" lesson. This style of article has long term appeal, stays current (it isn't news or time dependent) and offers real value and insight. The more pillars you have on your blog the better.

9. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.

You don't have to produce one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new. Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so the more content you can produce at this time the better.

8. Use a proper domain name. If you are serious about blogging be serious about what you call your blog. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need an easily rememberable domain name. People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world (that's the offline world, you remember that place right?) so you need to make it easy for them to spread the word and pass on your URL. Try and get a .com if you can and focus on small easy to remember domains rather than worry about having the correct keywords (of course if you can get great keywords and easy to remember then you've done a good job!).

7. Start commenting on other blogs. Once you have your pillar articles and your daily fresh smaller articles your blog is ready to be exposed to the world. One of the best ways to find the right type of reader for your blog is to comment on other people's blogs. You should aim to comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.

Most blog commenting systems allow you to have your name/title linked to your blog when you leave a comment. This is how people find your blog. If you are a prolific commentor and always have something valuable to say then people will be interested to read more of your work and hence click through to visit your blog.

6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is sort of like a blog conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger's article you can do a trackback to their entry. What this does is leave a truncated summary of your blog post on their blog entry - it's sort of like your blog telling someone else's blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks often appear like comments.

This is a good technique because like leaving comments a trackback leaves a link from another blog back to yours for readers to follow, but it also does something very important - it gets the attention of another blogger. The other blogger will come and read your post eager to see what you wrote about them. They may then become a loyal reader of yours or at least monitor you and if you are lucky some time down the road they may do a post linking to your blog bringing in more new readers.

5. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. If they see people commenting on your blog then they infer that your content must be good since you have readers so they should stick around and see what all the fuss is about. To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.

4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival enjoy a spike in new readers.

To find the right blog carnival for your blog, do a search at http://blogcarnival.com/.

3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of new readers but it's so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it's worth the effort. Go to Blog Top Sites, find the appropriate category for your blog and submit it. You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog so you can rank and then sit back and watch the traffic come in. You will probably only get 1-10 incoming readers per day with this technique but over time it can build up as you climb the rankings. It all helps!

2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn't bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it's worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have - your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.

How you benefit is through what is called your "Resource Box". You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.

1. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all of the techniques I've listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you do everything above you may bring in readers but they won't stay or bother to come back. Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

Five Formulas To Improve Your Adsense Earnings

Whenever webmasters prefer to monetize their websites/blogs, the great formula to do it is through Adsense. There are allots of webmasters struggling heavily to take in some good income a day through their sites/blog. But then some of the “geniuses” of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense advertisements on their sites. What does these webmasters different from the other kind is that they're dissimilar and they think out of the box.

The ones who have been there and done it have quite some useful tips to help those who would want to guess into this field. Some of these tips have advanced quite a lot of earnings in the past and is continuously doing so.

Here are about 5 shown formulas on how better to improve your Adsense earnings.

1. Focusing on one format of Adsense ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.

2. Make a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Move out the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Don't try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Keep links up to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.

5. Examine to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as “adsense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So centering on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.

Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will definitely click on.

Tips given by those who have boosted their earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have somehow worked wonders to some, maybe it can work wonders for you too. Try them out into your ads and see the result it will bring.

If others have done it, there's nothing wrong trying it away for yourself.

Adsense - Passive Income Generator!

Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting money income from their websites or blogs.

Whereas in the past advertising revenue was reserved for those sites with large a coming and going of visitors, now even teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place Adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for Adsense to pay for your hosting costs.

Adsense revolutionized the world of paid advertising; banner advertising is based on the number of visitors you attract to your site, so the number of "banner impressions" dictate the revenue you receive. Google Adsense is quite different; it is the number of visitors that actually click on the advertising that determine how much you earn.

There is also a great disparity between payouts; because advertisers bid up the price for certain keywords, some ads pay more than others. As such, a site with few visitors but expensive keywords in their google ads can potentially still pull in a hefty payout.

Google really has taken the web by storm; attracted to passive income, more and more people are seriously capitalizing on their Google adsense advertising. Some of the highest earners manage to attract enough visitors to make a four figure monthly income, just from using adsense alone! This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes and Google's adsense success is largely thanks to the fact that Google already enjoyed a fantastic reputation before introducing the program. They are a publicly traded company with physical headquarters. This, and the fact that anyone can apply to use adsense for free, has caused millions of people to sign up. For google it was a smart move, because now they extend their presence to countless websites and generate millions of dollars in advertising revenue. People were never reluctant to sign up, because the program is free. Google benefits by more people using adsense, so offering it for free was the best thing they could do.

One of the driving forced behind the program are its relevance to each and every page on a website; the program picks up keywords appearing in the website copy and automatically displays relevant ads. This increases the chances of people clicking through, and the webmaster collecting more revenue.

People are leveraging their income by operating several websites and attempting to attract as many targeted visitors as possible; in many instances we can observe that people work hard at a site, then once it is established they can largely leave it alone, yet still collect significant checks.

A major concern for entrepreneurs was the danger of a competitors ads showing up on their site; thanks to the adsense feature where it only displays relevant advertising. However this problem was solved by offering webmasters the option of filtering out unwanted ads. They can submit the URL of the competing site in their account, and any ads from the website/blog will be blocked.

Google recently came out with a new feature: small targeted keywords based on the site's content are displayed; then as people click on those, a page opens showing a variety of pay-per-click ads based on that keyword. This gives webmasters the chance of displaying more advertising in less space.

Adsense also adds creditability to your website/blog; the more focused the content, the better the ads will be and this encourages people to built high quality websites. These make the net a better place and generally provide a free service; site owners can afford to share their expertise or passions because they can receive indirect revenue's. The visitor does not pay for the information; instead the advertisers do, making the website's existence possible in the first place.

It is no surprise Google adsense is the most widely used form of advertising; they have created a program that is beneficial to both advertisers and users with their "no click no pay" mechanism, or more popularly called "pay-per-click". Advertisers do not pay for ads that are not drawing visitors, and website owners are paid more for each click than they would if the system were based on the number of people viewing the ads, instead of clicking on them.

All in all Google adsense has developed itself into a powerful tool, used by large corporations and the kid next door. They have truly revolutionized how the web thinks about advertising and made the process more profitable for site owners, while less costly for advertisers.

What is SEO?

What, exactly, is SEO? Good question. Newer internet marketers, and even some not-so-new to the industry, may be wondering just what SEO means, and how it applies to their own online business. Let's take a quick overview of SEO and see how you can use it to leverage your own online business.

SEO, or search engine optimization, is a fancy term used to describe the activities used by webmasters to get the search engines to rank their websites higher in the search results. It's generally known that the top three spots on any search results page will receive the vast majority of the click-through traffic, making those top spots very valuable. The old rule of "location, location, location" holds true for Internet traffic, as well as brick-and-mortar businesses. A top three position on Google is as valuable as a Rodeo Drive address.

So an entire industry called SEO has been developed to help website owners attain those top search positions. The industry began in the mid-1990's when YaHoo was born and the concept of keywords was first introduced. Webmasters quickly learned that the search engines looked favorably upon web pages that contained keywords that matched the search phrase being used. In the eyes of the search engines, the more keywords, the more relevant the page must be to the search topic. And thus, the concept of keyword stuffing was born.

By the turn of the century, many of the smaller search engines had fallen out of favor and Google had emerged as an 800-pound Google-rilla. At this point, keywords became a little less important to page ranking and more weight was given to the relative "importance" of the site -- which was measured by the number of clicks the site received for certain keywords.

These days, both keywords and click-through rates remain part of the search engine equation, but they are not nearly as critical to page rank as proving that your site is "popular" among related sites. While Google refuses to publish its algorithm for determining search positions (for very good reasons), it is universally understood that page rank depends heavily on the quantity and quality of any inbound web links. Thus, modern day SEO efforts are geared toward building links from high quality sites related to the topic of the subject website.

And how is this done? The options are many and some SEO activities are definitely more effective than others. Some of the more effective SEO solutions include writing a good quality article and asking a high-ranking website to publish it, along with a link back to your website. You can trade links with other websites, but that is not as effective as having one-way links pointing to your site (Google can easily see the link pattern and discounts reciprocal links.) You can join blogs and forums that relate to your site, and leave a signature link back to your site.

But all of this activity takes time, and if you own more than one website, it's very possible that you will need to outsource some, or all, of your SEO work. Your outsourcing options include hiring a specialized SEO company to review your site and implement the necessary activities. This option can be a little pricey and is usually used by only the largest online marketers.

Another option is to hire freelancers to help you identify potential link partners and then contact them for link opportunities. Freelancers can also write articles and blog posts for you. You can even hire freelancers to research keywords for you.

If you don't want to manage a subcontractor, you may find that SEO software is your best solution. There are a number of good software programs that will help you identify the most profitable keywords, locate high-authority link partners, and automatically submit your site to search engines.

But once you gain a few good quality links to your website, don't stop there or your website will gradually stagnate and lose favor with the search engines. Link building is an important ongoing marketing activity for any online business. Tips to Get a Google Adsense Account

To whom it may not familiar with Adsense, It is a Google’s marketing program which allows website/blog owners to generate income from displaying relevant Google ads on their websites. AdSense matches the content of the website to ads within their AdWords program and displays the relevant ads on the website. The website owners will get income from their website visitors clicking the ads. And there are some success stories from people who profiting and earning thousand dollars from Google Adsense

So how you can get those kinds of ads displayed in your website? Basically you have to register your website/blog and get Google’s approval. But unfortunately not every request will get approved. I have a tip for you based on my experience obtaining approval from Google in my first try, here are the steps:

1. Set up your blog with www.blogger.com. Blogger is a Google own blogging service. Make a certain theme for your blog and make sure that the theme is a marketable theme.

2. Put several relevant contents to your blog. Google loves contents! If you choose “health” as your theme, then you can write anything about health. But let me remind you, you have to write them in English. If you think you can’t write and not really confident with your English, don’t worry about that. You can find relevant contents in free articles directory such GoArticles.com and Ezinearticles.com but don’t delete the author names and their links (usually available at the bottom of the articles). Don’t take credit on their works.

3. If you have put some relevant contents, wait about two or three days. When you edit the layout or format of your blog, it will appear an offer from Google to apply for Google Adsense account. If the offer does not appear, just visit www.google.com/adsense and register there.

Believe me, your Adsense account approval will send to your email address in several days and start make money with Google Adsense.

Google Adsense That Make You Money!

Can you imagine..being paid checks by the largest and most popular search engine, simply for displaying a few ads on your website for FREE?

Well, this is exactly what the Google Adsense program is all about! And when you think about it, it's a revolutionary way of earning yourself a useful online side income. But let's back up a bit...

In the past, many webmasters displayed ads from various companies, via pop-ups, banners, pop-ins and pop-unders. However, visitors to these sites soon got tired of these advertising methods - I mean, who'd like to go to a website where they'd have to close pop-up windows every other minute? This resulted in a dramatic loss of traffic, and in turn made many webmasters to lose profits.

That's when Google announced a novel program – Google Adsense. Instead of having to use banners and pop-ups to advertise companies and gain a commission, website publishers could now earn a decent profit... by displaying unobtrusive text ads on the content pages of their website. Since the ads displayed were often directly related to what your visitors are looking for on your site, you had a way to both monetize and subtly enhance your web content.

One of the main reasons for its popularity, is the fact that the Google Adsense program is incredibly accurate. By stepping beyond the boundaries of simple keyword matching, it has quickly become one of the most prominent tools to display accurate advertisements. A list of keywords is still used as the basis of triggering ads, but complex algorithms now ensure that non-relevant ads no longer show up on your site.

Google Adsense also gives you the option to be selective about the type of ads you wish to display. This helps you direct your visitors towards certain type of products and avoid non-relevant or competitor ads. To make it possible for everyone to integrate Adsense into their sites, the program offers a wide variety of settings that allow you to alter the ads' size and appearance.

Google offers their Adsense program to just about all website owners. After signing up for the program, you'll receive an HTML/ XML code to paste on all of your web pages. Then, Google will dynamically generate ads that are relevant to your web content. Whenever a visitor clicks on one of the Adsense ads on your site, Google credits your account with a percentage of money that was paid by the advertiser for that ad.

To sign up for this terrific program, hop over to http://www.google.com/adsense It's super easy to set up - just a few clicks of your mouse and you're ready to go! Once you start displaying targeted Google Adsense ads on your website, you can expect to generate a sizable income depending on the traffic flow to your site and how many visitors actually click on the ads.

Make Money on the Internet

5 ways to make money from internet:

1. Sell your own product.

It has been said that everyone is an expert on something. Think about the things you know well, and ask yourself whether someone would be interested in learning that. Alternatively, if you feel you are not an expert in anything that people would pay to learn about, then spend some time doing research. Once you have the information on hand, put it into an e-book, or better still put it on audio or video files. Create a sales page for it, and a page from which people can download the product, then promote it and wait for the sales.

Pros: You have complete control over everything - product, price, sales pitch, the lot. You also have a unique product that is being sold by you alone (and your affiliates, should you choose to develop an affiliate program.)

Cons: There can be a great deal of work involved, not only creating the product but in testing the sales copy and promoting the site.

Tip: You don't have to do everything yourself. Outsource wherever possible.

2. Sell someone else's product.

For a relatively small amount, you can purchase a product with Resale Rights. This means that you can legally sell the product to other people. You still need to build a sales page and download page, and you still need to promote the site. The only difference from selling your own product is that you have not had to create it.

Pros: You do not have the work of researching and creating the product.

Cons: Potentially thousands of other internet marketers are selling the same product. However, this does not have to be as great a problem as it might seem at first. Think of it this way: if you were selling a physical book, would your bookshop be the only one selling that title? Of course not!

Tip: Often Resale Rights products come with a pre-made web site. Don't use it. It's ok for your product to be available in a zillion places on the web, but your salesletter should be yours and yours alone.

3. Affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketers drive people to someone else's product for a commission on the sales. There are thousands of affiliate programs available, in every niche from internet marketing to golf and from travel to pet care. One of the best ways to find programs, particularly for beginners, is through Click Bank. Use their search tool to find products that interest you, then create content sites around those products, using links to direct prospects to the product site. You can also promote affiliate products through article marketing, and some will allow you to promote them directly by Pay Per Click (but check their terms first, as some programs reserve certain keywords that you may not use for PPC.)

Pros: You did not have to create either the product or the sales letter. You are not responsible for returns or refunds. All you have to do is send people to the product site.

Cons: You have no control over the product or the price. Also, sometimes affiliate products are withdrawn, so you have to check regularly.

Tip: Don't try to promote a zillion products at once. Pick a few and work systematically to get them as much exposure as possible.

4. Google Adsense.

Adsense in the reverse side of the Adwords PPC program. You build a website with good content, and place a small piece of code from Google on the site. Google then serves up ads that relate to your content (sometimes the relationship is closer than at others). When someone clicks on one of those ads, you are paid a percentage of what Google receives for the click. The trick is to produce really good, relevant content that people want to read - remember, they are not coming to your site just to click on ads!

Pros: You don't have to find products to promote, Google does it automatically.

Cons: If someone abuses the ads on your site by multiple clicks, Google can consider it as spamming and disable your account. However, there is software available that allows you to avoid this problem.

Tip: Sites like Squidoo and HubPages allow you to create mini sites without having to worry about buying a domain name or web hosting, and they share with you the revenue from Adsense on the pages you create.

5. Build a list.

By far the best way to earn money on line, and one that combines some of the others, is to build a mailing list of potential customers. Develop a newsletter that offers regular, helpful and informative content, and make sure that you have a subscription form on every page of your web site. Within that e-zine, you can include links to your own product, a Resale Rights product you are selling, an affiliate product that you are promoting, or even a content site where you have Adsense. People may only visit your web site once, but as long as you provide content they want to read, they will keep receiving your newsletter every week (or however often you publish it.)

Pros: Allows you to promote any offer or site you want. Keeps reaching people.

Cons: You have to come up with content every issue, and you have to keep up the standard so that people will want to read. (However, as in creating your own product, you can outsource.)

Tip: As an added incentive for people to sign up, offer a free e-book or some other product - but make sure they can't get it till they have confirmed their subscription.

Make Money with Blogger

Although there certainly are a lot of different ways that you can make money with an online blog, one of the easiest ways for you to do so is when you try to make money with Blogger. There are several different reasons why this is the case, so let's take a look at this free service and what exactly it can do for you and your business.

First of all, many people turn to the service because it is free of charge and you can run as many blogs as you want. That is one of the benefits of trying to make money with blogger, the fact that you do not need to put any money into your business initially in order to get the ball rolling. If you have read any of my other articles, you probably already know that I am a proponent of buying a domain name and running a professional blog in order to make money online. That doesn't mean, however, that free services such as Blogger.com do not have their place. As a matter of fact, many people who are now very successful on the Internet got their start by doing this very thing.

Another reason why it is so tempting to make money with Blogger is the fact that the company is owned by Google. Since the majority of your search engine traffic is going to come from Google, it only stands to reason that they are going to quickly index and reward you for placing the content in this area. If you do it correctly, it is not unheard of for your information to be in the Google search engine within just a day or two after posting it,sometimes even sooner.

Finally, one of the most important reasons why you would want to make money with blogger is for leverage. A lot of people who are trying to earn a little bit of money on the Internet are not in a position to put out money for domain names and professional hosting. Even if they do have a little bit of extra money, working with the free system such as Blogger is an excellent way for them to be able to get their feet wet in the Internet marketing world. Once you begin to earn money with your free Blogger account, you can put that money towards domain names and really build a business from there.

10 Benefits of Being a Blogger

My blogging journey began when I stumbled upon a company owned by Google named Blogger.com that offered free tools to build a website.

In fact Blogger provides you with free several templates which you can customize in addition to a domain name hosted on their server. You can host your blog on your domain if you like to. Here are some benefits I found while blogging:

1) Easy to manage. A blog can be set up by even a novice in no time. All you have to do is post and publish. Blogging can get as simple as that or even more complex.

2) Easy to update. Blogs can be updated weekly or daily instead of sometimes monthly for a static website. Even adding a few paragraphs a day can be done in no time and can be beneficial to your search rankings.

3) Get spidered quickly. Search engine spiders crawl blogs with greater frequency than static webpages. I have had webpages that took over eight months to be indexed in Google where as Yahoo sometimes index my blogs in weeks sometimes days.

4) If you write articles then you can post all of them on your blog in addition to free reprint content that is widely available everwhere. The more content you have the better.

5) You can get your website indexed quicker. An article or a piece of news about your website with an optimize anchor link will send the spiders your way in no time.

6) Sell advertising space. If you have a popular blog then you can create a revenue stream by selling ad space. Blogads is one of several places where you can sell your ad space to major companies.

7) Similar to offering ad space, you can add Adsense to your blog to monetize your content. What I love about Blogger is that once you plug in the Adsense code into your main template, a new page is created and Adsense is automatically displayed when you make a post.

8) Review your affiliate products. If you have a blog that is in a niche then you can find affiliate programs for that niche and do reviews of them for a commission. Every time someone purchases the product or service through your link you make money.

9) It is still early to catch on. Blogs and RSS feeds are used by the minority of internet users which makes it excellent for you to start blogging right now. Less than 10% of the Americans which is the biggest online market use this emerging trend.

10) Can be syndicated. An easy way for your readers to stay in touch with updates is to add your blog to their My Yahoo and My MSN. They can see the latest information and how long ago it was added.
